Enuuk and PHP 7

Post by RWAP » Fri Dec 04, 2015 11:59 am

We have migrated one Enuuk based site onto PHP 7 without too many problems.

We will list any changes required here - if others can do likewise please.

So far, you have to rename class\String.php and class\Date.php (as PHP7 will not allow you to call a class with the same name as a reserved name / function).

So we altered these to
class\ProcessString.php
class\ProcessDate.php

Remember to change the defined name of the class in line 10:
class String
{

or
class Date
{

and then did a quick search and replace for
String:: (replace with ProcessString:: )
Date:: (replace with ProcessDate:: )

The Error class also needs to be renamed to ErrorMsg.php (change the class name inside the file to ErrorMsg too)

Then do a search and replace for
Error::

Change this to:
ErrorMsg::
