[FIXED] Language Updates vs Enuuk Updates

Hello ! My French version is ready (and available, just ask) for version 2.6, however, each new Enuuk version brings new texts...
Is there a way to merge my *old but correct* texts with the *new* texts from new versions ?

Not easily - no...

However, the best thing to do, is to ignore the latest updates and then use POedit to check for updates to the files - you will then see all of the new text lines which have not been translated and be able to add the new translations.

It is not an easy task unfortunately - but at least you only have to work on any translations that have been added or altered since you wrote your file.

Thanks for your reply

My next question is, once I made the new translations (in v2.8 messages.po file) is there a way to import my v2.5 old text lines into the new one ?

Not that I know of (but you could ask the creator of POEdit)

So far as I know, you are better to start with the v2.5 translations, then get POEdit to update the catalogue from the latest version of Enuuk - it will not over-write any of your existing translations, just add new texts as and where required.

Maybe I don't quite understand the question?

Thanks, it's OK. My folder path (under "Configuration" menu) was wrong so Poedit could not find the class/ and themes/ folders. Now it works ! :D
